Nurse Job Responsibilities


As a nurse, you will work as part of a healthcare team that assesses patient needs, plans and modifies care, and implements interventions. You will be responsible for providing basic patient care and/or treatments in clients' homes or facilities. A typical day may involve:



  • Administering prescribed medications or starting intravenous fluids, noting times and amounts on patient's charts.

  • Observing patients; charting and reporting changes in patient's conditions.

  • Measuring and recording patient's vital signs.

  • Assembling and using equipment such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, or oxygen suppliers.


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
