This is a part-time position consisting of 20 hours per week.
Employee performs a variety of routine custodial tasks to assist with the cleaning of offices and building environments performed throughout the day or at other regular intervals (e.
g.
, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual).
Performs other related duties as required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Sweeps, dust mops, scrubs, and wet mop floors, and stairways; vacuums and shampoos carpets and mats.
Cleans and sanitizes toilets and urinals; scour and disinfect sinks and wash basins.
Restocks restroom supplies, e.
g.
, hand towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap.
Empties wastebaskets and recycling receptacles; replaces liners; damp wipes interior and exterior.
Washes walls, windows, blinds, woodwork, doors, and mirrors.
Dust and wipe down surfaces; cleans and polish fixtures and furniture.
Spot cleans fabric upholstered furniture.
Assists with setting up events or special projects.
Assist in maintaining the inventory of products and equipment used.
Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs (replace light bulbs, change air filters, clean vents, maintain water softeners, water coolers and vacuums, etc.
).
Complete cleaning logs and records that show areas of the building that have been cleaned.
Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly on their feet standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, and reaching.
The employee is frequently required to go up and down two flights of stairs, walk the compound and occasionally climb a ladder.
The employee is frequently required to talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms to use standard cleaning equipment (such as a mop, broom, vacuum, cleaning chemicals, and other equipment required to clean the facility).
The employee must frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons.
The office environment has minimal hazards, which may include varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels noise levels associated with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles, vibration, and risk of electrical shock.
The noise level in the site environment can be loud at times.
While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, toxic or caustic chemicals or high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
