Summary of Position:
AGC Automotive located in Bellefontaine, OH is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer, Power Distribution & Sustainability within our PET Department. In this role, you will be responsible to maintain the plant's power distribution system; develop and implement long term improvements to the power distribution system; maintain the plants curtailment and other cost savings program; and support the plant's sustainability program. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preventative maintenance and budgeting of power distribution system Support emergency / unexpected breakdowns in the power distribution system Responsible to continually improve and modernize the plant power distribution system Administrate the plant's curtailment program(s) to maximize the utility savings Maintain the plants Arc Flash program Administrate electrical safety program, including training Administrate the electrical PPE program Provide support for new capital projects, assure proper power distribution and electrical safety systems Provide technical support for the Plant's Sustainability program Develop and maintain system to accuracy monitor all plant energy usage Monitor and analysis the plants energy consumption Assist with developing the future roadmap for the plant's sustainability program Responsible to implement energy savings projects and monitor success Demonstrates AGC Way in all aspect of responsibilities Willing to work flexible hours and travel as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of an associate degree in a technical field; Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technologies highly preferred Five years' experience in manufacturing environment preferably in automotive Ability to create new on-line and three phase electrical diagrams and drawings. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical Project Management skills PLC programming experience would be beneficial but not necessary Ability to multi-task and to be self-driven Ability to work through and influence others Excellent oral and written communication skills to all levels of management Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate individuals Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to work through and influence others What can AGC Offer You? Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
